When does it launch, and on what?
Android first, through Google Play. We're aiming for the first release within a few months. Waitlist members get the launch email on the day it goes live — plus 50% off.
Is this a subscription?
No — the main option is a one-time Lifetime purchase. You pay once and it's yours, including future updates. There are also optional monthly and annual plans if you'd rather not pay up front, but nothing about the app requires a subscription.
Does it really work offline? Where is my diary stored?
Everything happens on your device: the card readings, the reflections, and the diary. Your entries are stored on your phone and are never uploaded. You don't need an account to use it. The only time the app talks to a server is to confirm a purchase.
Is this fortune telling? Will it predict my future?
No. Deck & Diary is a tool for self-reflection and entertainment. Card interpretations are prompts for thinking — not predictions, and not professional, medical, financial, or psychological advice. The app never claims to know what will happen.
What do I get without paying?
A free plan with one draw a day, the full card interpretations, and an unlimited private diary. Paying unlocks unlimited draws and the pattern notes — the part that reads your own entries back to you.
Why should I trust a brand-new app with my diary?
Fair question. Two things you can check rather than take on faith: the app doesn't have a server that can store your entries even if it wanted to, and it asks for no account. You can also delete everything from inside the app in one tap.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If it isn't for you, ask and we'll refund it. No argument, no hoops. Purchases also go through Google Play's standard refund process.
